Today, we will discuss about Organization Chart

In today world to lead the project successful in efficient way, we need a good team works and this teams having some members which co-relates each other at every step of project.
               As all you know the Highway Project consist various activities like Road Construction, Cross Drainage Construction like culvert, flyovers,RE wall, Minor Bridges, Major Bridges, Drains , Retaining walls and many more. Apart from these there is Survey Department , Lab Department for Material Testing, Administration and Many more who assist the Project Manager or Construction Manager to complete the project within the stipulated time frame.
So organization chart is must important because we may forecast the manpower requirement at each every step with their job responsibility.
Here we would prepare a Organization Chart for Road Project:-
First of all we would Prepare a Brief Plan about the Project, what kind of Project we have, the number of Structures and Length for Road Construction and types of Pavement and others too.
So here , we are discussing the highway project and the head of this project shall be call Project Manger and this one have several helping hands like
      1. Deputy Project Manager
      2.  Planning Engineer
      3. Admin Manager/ HR
      4. Plants & Machinery Manager
      5. Material Engineer
      6. Accounts Manager
 
Now, we will distribute the project helping hands with other helping hands, which are as given below:-  
1.  Deputy Project Manager :- Deputy Project Manager are responsible for all types of execution works related to Highway and Structure. It also assist the project manager in various obstacle decision. The helping hands of Deputy Project Manager would be as given below:- 
        1a. Highway Manger:- Highway Manager are responsible for all types of Highways works 
              and  his reporting to be Deputy Project Manager. The helping hands of Highway Manger
              would be Project Engineer Highway, Sr. Site Engineer, Site Engineer & Sr.Supervisor.
        1b. Structure Manger:- Highway Manager are responsible for all types of Structure works 
              and  his reporting to be Deputy Project Manager. The helping hands of Structure Manger
              would be Project Engineer Structure, Sr. Site Engineer, Site Engineer & Sr.Supervisor.
         1c. Survey Manger:- Survey Manager are responsible for all types of Survey works 
              and  his reporting to be Deputy Project Manager. The helping hands of Survey Manger
              would be Surveyor, Asst. Surveyor & Survey Helpers.

              
2. Planning Engineer:- Planning Engineer are responsible for all types of documentation works related to the project and assist the Project Manager about scheduling of project time to time. All type of technical papers should be part of Planning Engineer and Preparation of Authority Bill is responsibility of that as well as the correspondence works are also part of him. The helping hands of Planning Engineer would be as given below:-
      2a. Quantity Surveyor:- The job responsibility of QS is calculate the cost estimate  of each and every items related to construction and reporting to the Planning Engineer.
      2b. Planning Assistant:- The job responsibility of Planning assistant to assist the Quantity surveyor in all types of billing works as well as maintain the documentation as per the instruction of Quantity Surveyor and Planning Engineer.
       2c. Cad operator:- The Job responsibility of Cad operator is to preparation of drawings in Autocad and assist the QS and Planning Assistant in all types of drawings related works.
3.Admin Manager/HR :- The Job responsibility of Admin Manager/HR to manage the Administration related to staffs Attendance, Accommodation and Mess.The helping hand Admin Manager/HR would be Cook/Mess Staff, Labour, Night Watchman/Security Guard and Admin supervisor. The reporting to Project Manager.
4.Plants & Machinery Manger:-  The job responsibility of Plants & Machinery Manager is to keep fit all the Plants & Machinery to give maximum output with less breakdown. The helping hand of Plants & Machinery Manger would be Foreman Mechanical, Mechanics, Drivers and Operators, Helpers & Electrician. The reporting to Project Manager.
 5. Material Engineer:- The job responsibility of Material Engineer to maintained the quality works and investigate the material quality as per standard norms. The helping hand of material engineer would be Quality Control Engineer, Sr. Lab Technician, Lab Technician & Lab Helpers.
6.Accounts Manager:- The Job responsibility of Accounts Manager to keep the works related to Accounts and Store. The helping hands of Accounts Manager would be Accountant, Jr.Accountant, Store Keeper, Material Manger, Weigh Bridge Operator.
